Kimani Chege is a Journalist, Media Trainer and Communications Specialist with over 20 years of practice. He has over the years specialized in unique areas of journalism covering health, agriculture, environment, and general sciences. His work has appeared in several media houses locally and internationally including Nature, Mail & Guardian, Daily Nation, Business Daily, Scidev.net and several Swedish media. He has also handled various communication assignments including developing content for WHO, ILRI, Africa Practice among others. He is the 2021 Editorial Fellow at Engineering for Change.

I am a Media Viability Consultant (MVC), training various radio stations on viability specialising in Audience Research, Human Resources, New Media Revenue Streams and Financial Modelling. |
| What impact do you want to make in the media sector?
I want to help media houses survive tough times by laying out plans to make it in the media industry. These include helping them plan and execute their financial plans as well as tapping on various revenue streams. |
