Our projects strengthen the human right to freedom of expression and unhindered access to information. Together with partners, DW Akademie plays a leading role in the development of free media systems, creating access to information, setting standards for education and independent journalism.
As a strategic partner of the Aga Khan University GSMC Kenya, DW Akademie has partnered with the Media Innovation Centre (MiC) to provide professional curriculum and expert training for innovators in East Africa looking to actualize their ideas for the media market.
