How we do it
Utilizing a combination of both art and technology as part of its innovative solution, we start with transforming complex health information into story based and educative health content by our effective team of story writers. Scripts are then developed which guide illustrations, animations, motion graphics, comics and comic videos developed by computer generated imagery technology. The modality to deliver these products is unique as it is digitalized, reaching a majority of youth and penetrating to places where health content has not been introduced to in hospital waiting areas. Future innovative prospects involve school based showcasing programs mainly, with comics, to reach primary and secondary school students that have limited internet access at school.
We started in December, 2017 as Amka Kijana, one of its projects as a Mawazo challenge finalist and grantee. Early in 2018 we assumed our current name to cover more aspects of the health sector..
