On behalf of Ona Stories and the Aga Khan University Media Innovation Centre, we are honored to invite you to the launch of our ‘Utanzania ni Nini?’ Project, on 17th March 2023, from 4.30pm to 7pm, at the National Museum in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania.
With over 120 different tribes, Tanzania has surprisingly managed to build a cohesive national culture over the past 6 decades. However, no one has ever done a deep exploration of what this national culture really is. Throughout last year we embarked on exploring Tanzania through articles, videos, illustrations, photographs and augmented reality and gathered it together into one website, Utanzania. This project will provide Tanzanians with a journalistic deep dive into the idea of what ‘Tanzanianess’ means and paint a picture of the diverse cultures in Tanzania through Music (Singeli), Clothing (Kaunda Suit), and Language (Kiswahili).
As we embark on a journey to showcase Tanzania to the world, we would be honored if you could grace our launch with your presence.
Kindly RSVP with your name or your representative and organisation by contacting Msafiri Ulimali via mobile number +255 755 370 156 or email email@example.com. We look forward to hosting you.
