The African Institute for Investigative Journalism (AIIJ) is a nonprofit media organisation launched in 2019 to provide a new home for investigative journalism in Africa. Informed by the principles of Human Rights and Social Justice, AIIJ seeks to use journalism as a tool for promoting social justice, accountability, informe public discourse and creating a nurturing space for professional and passionate investigative journalists. AIIJ’s vision is to be a center of excellence for investigative journalism in defense of public interest through an integrated programme of training and capacity building, collaborative reporting, research, grant-making and legal support for journalists. AIIJ seeks through innovation to tell stories that bring about political, economic and social change deepen investigative reporting.






Konzi la Moyo TV Show ni kipindi kipya cha Dakika 10 kilichosajiliwa BRELA NO. 498554 Tarehe 29. 08. 2021 kinachoandaliwa na Mwanahabari Nguri Florah Magabe kikiwa na shabaha ya kutatua ukatili wa kijinsia kwa Wafunzi kati ya miaka 6 hadi 21 katika mkoa wa Mwanza. Utafiti uliofanywa na ofisi ya Mbunge Jimbo la Nyamagana na taasis ya Wanawake na Hatamu katika shule 100 na vyuo 21 imebainika kati ya Wanafunzi 10, 6 kati yao wamekutana na unyanyasaji wa kijinsia kubakwa au kulawitiwa mkoani Mwanza. Konzi la Moyo TV Show itatoa uwanda kwa kuibua matukio ya ukatili na unyanyasaji wa kijinsia kwa Wanafunzi kupitia studio maalum itakayokuwa inaandaa vipindi vya Luninga, Radio na Mitandao ya kijamii ikiwa na shabaha ya kuandaa Vipindi 366 kwa Mwaka mzima. Kipindi hiki kitasambazwa katika mitandao ya kijamii kila siku katika Utube , Instagram, Face Book, Tweeter pamoja na kuwafiki Wanafunzi 256,000 kupitia vikundi songozi 1000 vya Whtasap.





Founded on 21st April 2020, The Debunk helps to demystify fake information in the media and in communities through tracking misinformation in real time by use of a bot and timely production of multimedia fact-checks. The goal of the organization is to provide factual information to people in all parts of Uganda and to the rest of the world.



We are committed to building a civically engaged citizenry in Uganda by Providing Ugandans with accurate data about governance and government as a whole starting with local government administration, giving detailed information on government expenditure to all government arms, providing a fun, engaging civic education platform especially for young people and curating socio-economic data from districts with the purpose of sharing it with citizens so that they can participate in their country’s growth by donating towards socio-economic challenges.

 


Digital Safari is a story telling inbound platform at Shelevision Media Limited, Founded in February 2021 we focuses on Advertising Promoting local tourism in Tanzania especially lakezone using media innovation, ie. Big data for collecting and analyzing data, Virtual reality and argumented reality technology to youth. As Digital Safari we aims to Increase the number of local tourist by 70% at the year 2023.


Founded in 2018, we are innovating around the product and method used to deliver health information, we deliver co-created, story based, educative and entertaining health content in a digitalised manner and in areas with high traffic as hospital waiting areas. We are looking to become an evidence based health and medical media company.





Hamasa Media Group has been providing ground breaking communications-innovations for local and international organizations such as the world Health Organization(WHO), Japan International Corporation(JICA), Legal and Human Rights Centre(LHRC), Tanganyika Law Society, Tanzania Media Foundation and Wildaf-Tanzania. We provide communication services based on a tailor-made approach, we strongly believe everyone needs unique and relevant strategies. In April 2020, Forbes-Africa listed Hamasa Media Group as one among 30 successful businesses in Africa run by African youths under 30 years.
Currently Hamasa intends to design a data analytics platform which cuts across key areas of media outlet, the platform seek to enhance the design of media data-driven business models for Tanzanian media outlets.




Muyambo media solutions

Our key mandate is to empower the Bunyala fishing community on hiv/ aids information following the high hiv prevalence in the area. Muyambo media solutions aims to reduce the hiv prevalence, by significantly reducing new infections, and ensuring that the infected can access medication as desired through hiv combating content that we broadcast.

OpenSigns Impact innovations Limited is a Tech4Inclusion Start-up. Founded in 2019, OpenSigns Impact Innovation’s mission is to Develop and implement tech Innovations that enable the inclusion of persons with Disabilities in socio-economic development. At OpenSigns Impact innovations Ltd, we believe in the power of teach to harness the potential of persons with disabilities to be able to live more independently just like the rest of the able-bodied persons in our communities.
