Quality media in East Africa have been facing existential threats not just since the Covid19 crisis. At the same time more and more media innovators come up with promising ideas on how to find viable solutions for media houses. This panel brings together three institutions that are working on building an environment for innovation in Kenya, Tanzania and Uganda. Listen to Fausta Musokwa, interim Director of the Tanzania Media Foundation (TMF), Njoki Chege, Director of the Aga-Khan-University Media Innovation Centre in Nairobi and Abaas Mpindi, founder of the Media Challenge Initiative (MCI) in Uganda.
